Making a submission on the law is not easy. The task is to be complete but succinct; persuasive and helpful to the court but also to win the point for your client.

 

A lot of advocates find making legal submissions quite daunting. In this course you will learn how to cite judgments, use precedents and present arguments without reading them to the court. You will learn the importance of skeleton arguments and what goes on in a judge's mind when the court is hearing a legal submission.

 

The course will cover the subject of voice projection, effective body language and the importance a smooth and well-paced delivery.
